Former Cedar Realty COO Nancy Mozzachio Files Charges Against Current CEO

CEO Bruce Schanzer is being accused of sexual harassment and pay discrimination charges by the company’s former Chief Operating Officer Nancy H Mozzachio. The decision whether of these charges is in the hands of a judge in Brooklyn.

Aside from smirking at women at the workplace, CEO Schanzer is also giving out malicious comments according to Nancy Mozzachio. Nancy also claims that CEO Schanzer he has made some unfit commentary about her breasts and maliciously calling her “babe”. Nancy also shared an experience she had with the current CEO Schanzer wherein she was drinking a coffee from Dunkin Donuts where he made a an awful remark about bringing some Double Ds to the workplace. Also, the current CEO Schanzer is said to be giving out uncalled for hugs at work.

After the charges of pay disparity and sexual harassment was filed in court, the company has made a crucial decision to remove Nancy as Chief Operating Officer. She was supposed to have a meeting but it was canceled and after she was fired as Chief Operating Officer.

During 2015, Cedar Realty the company itself started on digging up some information regarding the lawsuit when they heard that an external investigator has also decided to do some digging. But according to the former COO Nancy, the investigators never probed on the claims made by the female workers who were said to be victims of the sexual harassment as well made by Schanzer. There was an employee of the said company that went to Wall Street Journal to help spread her experience with Schanzer; according to her- she was asked by the CEO what color her underwear is. Nancy Mozzachio is very well known for her triumphant career with the company. Nancy has proven her worth in the company, she has clearly made her way to the top. She started off as the Director for Leasing and the Vice President for Leasing in the year 2003 and 2004. Based on the allegations she has made about pay disparity, she is only receiving a small bonus incentive and a lower salary as Chief Operating Officer rather than the Chief Financial Officer and she expressed how unfair that is on her part knowing she should have the bigger pay. The said company has pleaded no guilty on the charges and after the investigation process made, the charges have not been approved and has been identified as no merit.
